The many faces of me

Okay so I went out last night to the Casino with my folks (the first time I've been out a-partying since I had my first born).  Was devastated that the security didn't ask me for ID, even after I acted all nervous and shifty (since it felt like I was 16 and sneaking into a nightclub all over again).  So alas and alak!  I will have to come to terms with the fact that I obviously look every single one of my 30 years.

On the upside I did have two separate people comment that I looked like Jennifer Garner.  I'm guessing a post baby Garner - but I'm willing to accept that compliment either way.  Which got me thinking as in my life so far I've been told I look remarkably like Nicholle Tom (from Nanny fame), Reece Witherspoon and now Ms Garner, dependant on my hairstyle of the time.  And then on the less then famous front I am apparently the spitting image of my mother, biological father and I've even had people say my beloved Dad, who sadly is no blood relation at all.  And since none of these people look anything like the other I am lead to believe that my face is either changeable enough that my non existent make-up skills are enough to make me look like other people and I should be looking for a position as one of those super spy's.  Or my face is that unremarkable that people don't see past the hair cut :P  Or the final option which is that people just have no idea and make shit up!!!

On the bright side I am now $100 richer after my little foray into the world of gambling...  Yay me!  Well yay mum...  As the lesson I learnt last night was always, always listen to your mum...  Particularly when it comes to cards...
